Host/Host

Duties:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or seating areas
- Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests
- Take reservations and manage the waiting list
- Assist with bussing and cleaning tables when necessary
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station

Skills:

- Experience in the food industry or restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant or hotel as needed
- Hospitality experience, such as working in a hotel, is a plus
