The Total Rewards Analyst II is responsible for partnering with employees in the Total Rewards team to provide support in the areas of Benefits, Wellbeing, Recognition and Compensation. The Total Rewards Specialist II reports to the Sr. Director, Total Rewards.


What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and ensure accurate and complete premium and contribution calculations and collections and reconciling the monthly statements for voluntary insurance policies with employee paycheck deductions.
  • Maintains and tracks premium remittance/invoicing for all benefits vendors to compare against budget month over month.
  • Assist with the resolution of complaints and concerns from active, terminated, and retired employees and outside sources regarding benefit plans. Research information needed to resolve disputes and inquiries fairly in a timely manner.
  • Audit data based on employee information, revised calculations, and benefit plan changes. Resolves issues as they arise and provides correct information.
  • Run standard reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly for ongoing needs and facilitate the development of ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Partner with the Total Rewards team in the maintenance and accuracy of all Total Rewards related policies and materials posted to James Hardie Intranet.
  • Partner with the Total Rewards team with the implementation and administration of the global wellbeing programs. Monitor participation and reporting to assist in identifying monthly topics.
  • Assist with the implementation and administration of the employee recognition and reward program.
  • Assist with testing systems (e.g., merit, recognition, annual enrollment)
  • Assist with the data requirements of the job architecture project.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in directly applicable benefits administration
  • Ability to work effectively with internal employees
  • Ability to work well with all levels of employees and management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and successful stress tolerance
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, HRIS and other software)
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material and information in an ethical, professional manner
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem resolution and decision-making skills

Salary Bonus:
The expected pay range for this position is between $80,000 and $91,500. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, market conditions, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position qualifies for benefits which may also include a discretionary bonus.
