Our PM/CM team is experiencing exciting growth in Nebraska and we have a need for a Quality Assurance and Construction Inspectorto join our team. You’ll join our team and assist construction and project managers in completion of quality assurance and inspection work in accordance with projects and client specifications. You will have the ability to develop a quality assurance plan, review installation of placement of construction materials, and report, track and monitor quality related issues.

Utilizing your expertise to observe construction methods and workmanship to ensure that contractors build vertical structures in accordance with plans and specifications.

Typical Duties:

• Develop, monitor, and report on quality assurance plan.
• Observe and inspect ongoing construction work.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure that work is within compliance of plans and specifications. 
• Maintain daily reporting of work in progress, status of completion, and discuss construction related problems with supervisor.
• Able and willing to work day or night shifts and/or flexible schedules including weekends as required to support the project requirements.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, related field, or equivalent related experience in lieu of education.
• 10 years of experience in QA/QC management on projects of similar size and scope.
• Knowledge of construction practices and principles
• Proficient in MS Office Suites
• Ability and willing to travel as needed.
• A valid State’s driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check

Essential Duties

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous
