Farm Credit Council is Hiring a Quality Assurance Testing Coordinator Near Omaha, NE

*Hybrid- Incumbent must work in the Omaha, NE office a percentage of time each week.*

FCSA is seeking a Quality Assurance Testing Coordinator who will coordinate testing efforts to ensure accuracy and functionality of system development across the organization. Plan, lead, monitor and report on functional/automated testing activities and tasks. Works closely with Product Management and Business Technology to ensure development and testing efforts are completed and meet all outlined business system requirements. Coordinate issues resolution and make recommendations for quality assurance process improvements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide direction and coordination of testing initiatives. Lead communications in the creation, maintenance and execution of test cases and end to end business scenarios.

  • Develop a test plan repository to increase efficiency and avoid duplication of work. Manage and maintain repository of testing artifacts.
  • Ensure documentation of project requirements, assess business impacts of system development, develop (when needed) and review test scripts to ensure thorough testing can be completed.
  • Produce reports to communicate release/project health and consolidation of issues/resolution plans. Establish KPI's that give insight on the status of testing.
  • Ensure defects are resolved and change requests are successfully implemented or prioritized.
  • Communicate test metrics and status updates to assigned testers, Product Management, Business Technology, vendors, and leadership as appropriate.
  • Coordinate testing efforts overlaps between Automation Engineers and Manual Testers.
  • Coordinate End-To-End testing of larger testing initiatives.
  • Coordinate testing phases like UAT and SIT.

Ensure testing environments are ready.

  • Ensure that all necessary test data and pre-requisites are accounted for and fulfilled for all environments.
  • Ensure systems are available for testing purposes.
Education Requirements
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferred in Business, Finance, Software Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or another relevant field required.
Years of Experience
  • 4 years working with automated testing tools or developing, documenting, implementing and maintaining test suites and test scripts.
  • 3 years Leading testing processes
