Our onsite Program Management team in Chicago, IL is looking to add an experienced and collaborative Project Management Information Systems in support of a multi-billion-dollar airport capital program. Reporting into the Program Management Office’s Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for or overseeing all aspects of information management and systems within the PMO. This includes document control, data management, and the implementation and maintenance of program management information systems, including eBuilder.

This position will be as part of a joint venture team, and the selected candidate will be hired by Jacobs, one of the JV partners, or a teaming partner.

Here's What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Developing and implementing document control procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient management of project documentation.
  • Promote document control compliance with a quality control mindset, utilizing project audits to review compliance and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Overseeing the organization, storage, and retrieval of project documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Managing data collection, storage, and analysis processes to support program decision-making and reporting requirements.
  • Utilization of dashboarding to present collected data to track performance, trends, etc.
  • Leading the implementation and maintenance of program management information systems, including eBuilder, ensuring they meet the needs of the PMO and its stakeholders.
  • Investigation of program systems to provide regular reporting on the health status of the document control systems.
  • Coordinating training and support to PMO staff on document control procedures, data management practices, and the use of program management information systems, including eBuilder.
  • Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to identify information management needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Monitoring system performance and recommending improvements or upgrades as necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Managing a team of data analysts and document control technicians.
  • Staying informed about emerging trends and technologies in information management and systems to continuously improve PMO practices and processes.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, engineering, or business administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information management or data management
  • Demonstrable experience with eBuilder administration, including configuration, customization, process development, and user training
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to document control, data management, and information security
  • Strong understanding of document control principles, data management best practices, and program management information systems
  • Experience with the selection, implementation, and maintenance of information management systems, such as eBuilder, document management systems, database management systems, and project management software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and motivating teams to achieve common goals
  • Ability to work onsite full time at O’Hare International Airport with the program management team
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Master degree in information management, computer science, engineering, or business administration
  • Experience in information management, data management preferably in a program management or construction management environment
  • Demonstrated experience on a program management team providing capital improvements on public projects
  • Aviation/Airport experience
