LOCATION:Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 2 days/week on-site, 3 days/week remote)

The National Council States Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is an independent, not-for-profit organization through which nursing regulatory bodies act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting public health, safety and welfare, including the development of nursing licensure examinations. JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented professional to join our International Center for Regulatory Scholarship (ICRS) team. The ideal candidate will bring value to the team by coordinating operational tasks and product development functions for NCSBN eLearning product lines.

Reporting to the Director of ICRS, the LMS Administrator will collaborate with the course development team to publish and manage educational content in the learning management system (LMS), while ensuring consistency and following standard processes across all eLearning products. The LMS Administrator will also conduct quality assurance (QA) testing, guiding the project design and development teams through existing processes as well as providing recommendations for improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configures and maintains eLearning courses, assets, curricula, learner pathways, and resources in the ICRS LMS.
• Conducts quality assurance testing for courses and related eLearning systems, troubleshoots, and documents technology issues.
• Assists in developing and maintaining LMS and Student Information System (SIS) technologies (xAPI, SCORM, course authoring tools etc.).
• Assists with regular reviews/audits and maintenance/clean-up for LMS pages, eLearning products, and user accounts (checking for broken links, updating outdated language, cleaning up user accounts).
• Provides Tier 2 support for instructors and students having technical issues.
• Assists in analyzing data and data systems for course offerings, and LMS performance.
• Researches and implements new emerging eLearning technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience working with SCORM.
• Experience with LMS software (Canvas preferred), data management, and content management systems (CMS).
• Excellent computer/Internet skills.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Computer Skills Required: Windows-general; E-email-intermediate/advanced; Excel-intermediate/advanced; Word general; HTML-general; CSS-general; Graphics software-general; SharePoint-general, preferred.
