POSITION TITLE: Product Support Specialist III, Consolidated Services (Nursys Team)

STATUS: Full time / Exempt

LOCATION: Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid: 2 days/week on-site, 3 days/week remote)

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Nursys team within the Consolidated Services department. The ideal candidate will bring value to the team by providing advanced subject matter expertise and conducting Nursys processes, such as data integrity reports, Falsified Identity Tracking System (FITS) and Nurse Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) compliance.

Reporting to the Nursys Manager, Consolidated Services, the Nursys Specialist III will serve as primary liaison between operations, NPDB and Nursing Regulatory Bodies (NRBs), and ensure NRB-Nursys complex operational issues are resolved by providing accurate, prompt, and professional support and leveraging skilled resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the primary liaison with NPDB, NRBs, licensing vendors and other applicable vendors for leading Nursys related projects by obtaining additional information and communicates problem status and resolution to Nursys end-user and relevant internal resources. Conducts enhanced, regular audits of Nursys processes and data received.
  • Communicates and coordinates with NRBs regarding complete cycle of the NPDB Compliance Audits to maintain the integrity of the data in Nursys and ensuring NPDB, Nursys and NRBs systems are in sync. Including but not limited to, regular webinar with the NRBs on the compliance audit process and providing boards their NPDB compliance status. Resolves all complex NPDB reporting issues.
  • Works as the lead on the complete data integrity process, including but not limited to, monitoring data integrity projects, monitoring the budgeted Data Integrity funds and quarterly reports.
  • Partners with Nursys Manager and Business Analyst (BA) team to identify quarterly education sessions topics related to new releases or refresher training on Nursys functionality. Attends all Nursys Education Session to assist with the Q&A as the subject matter expert.
  • Acquires and maintains competent knowledge of relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery to achieve established performance metrics based on standard operating procedures. Makes recommendations for continuous process enhancement.
  • Provides support to the NRBs and other agencies regarding FITS by assisting boards/agencies with FITS entries as well as providing NRBs guidance if a proposed FITS record is reportable to NPDB.
  • Evaluates, maintains, and updates standard operating procedures and other support documentation using writing, proofing, and editing skills.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role

  • Attention to detail, adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Zendesk Ticketing Application; Understanding of databases; Web and HTML; CRM; Reporting experience preferred
