DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, GROCERY RETAIL-MICHIGAN
COMPANY PROFILE:
As a family-owned Midwest grocer, they have built a base of raving fans by providing an unparalleled shopping experience and making a positive difference in each of the communities they serve. They feature a broad variety with an emphasis on local products, fresh produce, made-from-scratch deli and bakery items, USDA Choice meat, seafood and an extensive beer and wine collection. They love food and it shows!
FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
As a Director of Human Resources, you will implement and drive HR strategies that include
talent acquisition, compensation, health and welfare benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning and employee relations and retention.
THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Director of Human Resources will have 4 Direct Reports and lead a team of 10 HR Professionals in order to support the stores and corporate support staff. You will report to a COO/CEO and present quarterly updates to the board of directors. Position will be based in Michigan.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Depending on your experience and skills, your total compensation package will be include very competitive base salary and 20% bonus potential!
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Must have at least 5 years of senior HR leadership, leading teams of HR professionals supporting stores and all areas of the company. Retail grocery experience is strongly preferred along with the accompanying skill sets unique to grocery retail in benefits adminstration, workforce analytics, talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee relations and retention. SHRM certification preferred. Bachelors degree.
