Oversees the financial affairs of the Indiana and Ohio Ready Mix divisions of imi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end, quarter and month-end reports
• Distribute financial reporting results to required groups and meet with groups to review/explain results
• Prepare and update budgets and forecasts in accordance with organizational requirements
• Provide cost management insights to the leadership team
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, sales performance, and operational cost efficiencies
• Manage the Accounting team, including but not limited to the Assistant Controller, Accountants, A/P, A/R, Billing and Administrative staff
• Be part of team to drive successful ERP implementation and change management initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and organizational adaptation
• Manage the production of the annual budget
• Manage expense reporting process for division
• Manage internal and external communication and requests for information
• Manage Capital Expenditure requests and reporting
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
• Ensure A/P and A/R are processed accurately and timely
• Ensure that bank reconciliations are accurately completed
• Issue timely and complete financial statements
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
