Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dynamic, ambitious, skilled and dedicated Accounting Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in QuickBooks, a strong understanding of medical billing software (or willingness to learn), experience in conducting payroll, and basic accounting skills. As an Accounting Consultant, you will work on a consultant basis, providing support and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in QuickBooks, a willingness to learn medical billing software, and a passion for helping clients navigate financial challenges. The ideal candidate will also have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for ensuring accuracy in financial processes. Responsibilities:
· Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
· Assist in navigating and utilizing medical billing software, providing guidance and support as needed.
· Conduct payroll activities accurately and in compliance with relevant regulations.
· Offer basic accounting support, such as preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and analyzing financial data.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and client interactions.
· Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes related to accounting and finance.
· Hours can vary starting at approximately 5 hours per week
Requirements:
· Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
· Familiarity with medical billing software (experience with specific platforms is a plus).
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies, including medical billing platforms.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving problems. and collaboratively with team members.
· Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
· Commitment to providing exceptional service and support to clients.
· Fluency in English (proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus).

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
· Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
