In this role, you will serve as a Human Resources Associate and contribute your experience and knowledge towards fulfilling our Mission -Making Lives Better Through Transportation. We re looking for someone who has a high level of customer service and commitment to working on a collaborative team. A strong attention to detail, self-organization, and flexibility are a must in this role but we will help expand your knowledge in all things Human Resources.
What you ll do:
As a Human Resources Associate you will be dedicated to performing a variety of Human Resource functions; including, but not limited to benefits, FMLA, catastrophic leave, absences, time-entries, retirement processing, and long-term disability. You will gain a strong knowledge of our Human Resource Information Systems (Workday) and will work closely with Department of Administrative Services-Human Resource Enterprise staff and other sister State Agencies.
As a Human Resources Associate, you will work very closely with all managers, supervisors, and employees to properly complete personnel transactions and become the expert on all things employment or benefit related!
Where you ll work:
As for scheduling, this position offers flexibility and part time remote work. It is required to report, in person, to the Ames Central Complex weekly.
