We are seeking a Software Engineer position supporting the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) AMD Mission Command Product Office, a US Army Project Office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems. In this role, you will work with both contractors, government civilians and system operators. Your tasks could include developing system level features that describe MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to provide guidance for software implementation. Tasks also include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the features. An MBSE approach is used to document the features using an Agile workflow. To be successful, you will need to have a record of taking initiative and being a team player in a small team environment. You must be comfortable working as a team member in an Agile environment and be willing to engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure that software can meet the needs of the intended users. Required ABET accredited BS degree Must have a solid theoretical and applied knowledge of Link-16. Experience with integration of MIDS terminals via ethernet interfaces is highly desired. 7 or more years of engineering experience in support of DoD programs Must have experience in one or more of the following areas: tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, software, hardware, requirements decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages. System engineering experience Hands on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF are desired. Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe© Agile experience are plus.
