Job Description Seeking a Propulsion Logistician Lead to join our Propulsion Team! This contract directs Spiral to advise and support the Propulsion Team for all engineering and logistics support focusing on the areas of risk management, technical writing, strategy development, cross-team integration, and supply chain management. The anticipated workload will include the use of technical manuals, illustrated parts listings, and advanced mechanical/electrical specifications. The work will take advantage of the employees' ability to perform research of technical material discrepancies and offer potential solutions. An understanding of tools, measuring/test equipment, mechanical support equipment, transportation, handling requirements, and maintenance practices for the LGM-30 Minuteman III ICBM weapons system is necessary. Location: Hill AFB, UT Requirements * Perform logistics functions to include acquisition, supply chain coordination and communication, integrated logistics support, manpower estimating, fabrication, distribution and transportation.
* Provide acquisition planning, training program development and implementation, system design/engineering/integration, and/or test and evaluation in support of Government or commercial programs.
* Procure goods and services to support mission needs.
* Provide program management support to include project control, project planning, and cost analysis.
* Perform systems integration and requirements analysis.
* Undertake duties to administer, supervise, or perform work involving the planning, directing, or operating of rail, motor, air, or water transportation systems and service, including positions involving responsibility for operation of both transportation service and terminal facilities.
* Assist with Supervision of staff logisticians and logistics specialists.
* May participate in oversight of logistics activities for a program or site.
Qualifications: * 7 years of directly related ICBM experience
* 3 years of progressive responsibility providing technical leadership
* At least 1 year of supervisory experience
* Ability to work independently.
* Knowledge and experience in logistics or supply fields
* Ability to work in a team-based setting.
* Strong project management skills
* Must have and maintain a SECRET clearance. Education/Experience: * BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field 10 years of experience OR
* MS Degree 7 years of experience, OR
* PhD 4 year of experience Other Requirements: * Secret security clearance
* Must pass background check and drug screening
