Interstate Mechanical Corporation (IMCOR) is Hiring a Construction Contract Administrator Near Phoenix, AZ

Join IMCOR, one of Arizona’s most reliable Mechanical Contractors, specializing in Design Build, Commercial/Industrial HVAC, Piping & Plumbing Systems, Service Maintenance, and Special / Facility Projects. We are currently seeking a dedicated Construction Contract Administrator to provide administrative support and manage customer construction contracts. This role will work closely with the IMCOR President and other leadership to ensure the company's goals and objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, analyze, and negotiate all IMCOR contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Validate contracts, purchase orders, and letters of intent from IMCOR customers.
  • Draft and negotiate contractual instruments under the direct supervision of the IMCOR President.
  • Ensure IMCOR is in compliance with all pre-lien notice and licensing requirements.
  • Ensure all contract-related documents, such as insurance, bonds, and safety are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Support IMCOR with all aspects of litigation management and dispute resolution.
  • Provide administrative support to the company President.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum of five years related Construction Contract Administration experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification as a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to read, analyze and process contract documents.
  • Ability to work with various personnel to complete the assigned duties (Customers, Project Managers, Operation Managers, Finance/Accounting Departments and Business Development/Sales Department)
  • Excellent attention to detail is mandatory.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required.
  • Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the IMCOR organization.
