Title: Corporate Account Manager

Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing
Department:Sales

Location: Glastonbury, CT. USA

 *Base Salary Listed does not include potential Bonus Earnings

Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Account Manager maintainsand expands

relationships with strategically important customers. Theindividual is primarily responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategicaccount objectives. The Account Manager represents the entire range of company productsand services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planningcycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

 

The individual will act as the primary liaison and solutionsconsultant between iTi and its potential and existing customers. The Account Managerdevelops and maintains quality relationships that enable aggressive growth. Utilizinginnovative thinking, passion for customer service, relationship building skills,and is also responsible for identifying and leading customers smoothly through thesolutions cycle to a successful close.

 

The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring professionalethics are never compromised and comply with company and regulatory policies andprocedures. The individual should always act with the highest degree of honestyand integrity. Models and acts in accordance with iTi’s mission, vision and corevalues.

 

The following key accountabilities ensure the critical successof this position:

 

50% Responsible for achieving sales targets and strategic accountobjectives for assigned customers.

·Leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuringassigned customers’ needs and

·expectations are met by the company.

·Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volumeand strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

·Establish and maintain a strong ongoing customerrelationship across all levels of influence ensuring the customer sees the AccountManager as a valued resource and strategic partner.

·Coordinates the involvement of company personnel,including support, service, operations and

·management resources, in order to meet account performanceobjectives and customers’ expectations.

·Proactively leads a joint company-strategic accountplanning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets,and critical milestones for one to three-year period.

·Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customerneeds on an ongoing basis.

·Leads solution development efforts that best addresscustomer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

 

 

30% Responsible for developing new customers and achieving newcustomer sales targets for assigned market segments.

·Lead the assigned market segment strategic planningcycle to ensure new client acquisition

·targets are delivered on a consistent basis.

·Deliver new sales volume targets by developing keymarket segment tactical execution plans.

·Supports the implementation of marketing and salesprograms, procedures, methods and practices to promote iTi’s key messages and achievea competitive advantage in market place.

 

10% Responsible for market research and understanding industrytrends and associated customer needs of assigned market segments

·Assess market opportunities, understand the competitiveclimate within defined markets and

·market segments to provide appropriate solutionsand services.

·Understand customer’s economic and other motivationaldrivers and customer values for each level of influence.

·Demonstrate industry and market knowledge, and implement/executean engagement model for addressing current and potential customers in assigned marketsegments.

 

10% Be the voice of the customer and internal champion for thecustomer in developing new products and services.

·Keeps informed off and informs the leadership andoperations team on current trends, issues,

·problems and activities in order to facilitate policy/productmaking and strategy development.

·Educate ITI organization, teach internal stakeholdersspecifics about market trends and competitive landscape that they need to know andmarket internally to create interest and enthusiasm.

·Participate in all internal sales, marketing andproduct development meeting and ensure that customer needs are being incorporatedinto all new and existing products and services.

 

Performance Measures

·Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategicaccounts.

·Achieves new customers acquisition quota in designatedindustries.

·Meets expectations for profitability goal.

·Achieves strategic customer objectives defined bycompany management.

·Completes strategic customer account plans that meetcompany standards.

·Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings thatmeet company and customer goals.

Requirements
Education:
Associate Degree / bachelor’s degree in business or any related field
Languages
Fluent in written and spoken English. Bilingual preferred.
