We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dining experience for our guests. This includes managing the front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a smooth operation.
Duties:
- Supervise and train front-of-house staff, including hosts/hostesses, servers, and bartenders
- Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies and procedures
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including restrooms and entryways
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as menus, napkins, and condiments
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new front-of-house employees
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in billing and payments
Experience:
- Previous experience in culinary or hospitality management is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proven experience in supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
- Familiarity with kitchen operations is preferred
- Experience as an assistant manager or restaurant manager is a plus
- Knowledge of catering operations is an advantage
