Job Summary
To ensure success as an Electrical Engineering Technician, you should have high-level problem-solving skills, extensive experience working with industrial electrical systems, and good communication skills. Ultimately, a top-class Electrical Engineering Technician ensures the smooth running of the plant’s electrical system, automated machines, presses, and resolves issues quickly and efficiently.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):

Minimum of 10 years industrial electrical maintenance required
· Advanced understanding of electrical systems, including 3Ø, automation and robotics.
· Basic understanding of mechanical systems, including mechanical drives, presses, conveyors etc.
· Comfortable with computers
· Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools
· Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred
· Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Able to work off shifts and weekends, as assigned.
· Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
· Minimum high school diploma or GED
· Advanced technical or college training preferred
· Military Experience a plus (Avionics/Radar Repair, Radio Repair, Electrician)
· Experience with Predictive Maintenance, such as Thermography, Vibration Analysis and Motor Testing.
CMRT, CRL Certification a plus
