Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The CNC Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibility is troubleshooting CNC equipment and ensuring Planned Maintenance (PM) procedures and machine repairs are completed in a safe and timely manner.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)
• Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machine and Machining Centers
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
• Identify and replace parts as necessary
• Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed
• Complete planned and preventative procedures
• Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions
• Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations
• Other duties as required
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus
• Minimum 5 years CNC Maintenance Experience
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions
• Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills to run multiple software applications, such as Excel, Word, Notes, etc.
• Ability to work unsupervised
