Responsibilities:

• Book monthly standard journal entries
• Perform monthly reconciliation of certain balance sheet accounts including reconciliation of corporate credit card account.
• File monthly sales and use tax with Virginia Department of Taxation, and make quarterly estimated tax payments to the States
• Review expense reports and ensure that employees are following our policy and the expenses are properly categorized
• Processing of monthly intercompany invoices, making sure the charges are coded appropriately and necessary approvals of the invoices are obtained
• Assist with monthly gross margin analysis by researching and identifying issues, and help resolve issues working with people across different department.
• Review voucher for monthly corporate credit card purchase activities
• Assist with preliminary and year end audit, working on audit request, providing requested information to auditors
• Assist with addressing intercompany issues and work toward resolution of issues
• Compile and provide year end information request to the Corporate
• Compile and provide information for annual tax extension filing as well as final filings to EY

Desired Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of Accounting experience
• Experience in Deltek Costpoint and Cognos desired
• Expert in using Excel or other applicable accounting and financial software to analyze financial information
• Results oriented team player committed to superior quality and service
• Excellent analytical skills and sound analytical thinking
• Proficient at applying accounting concepts, techniques, and rules according to GAAP and IFRS
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple competing deadlines
• Must be flexible to function as an accountant and accounts payable analyst
