Senior Accountant
Position Overview:
Our client has a need for assistance due to the current workload.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities of Senior Accountant role are:
- Recording journal entries (ACH cash/wire receipts/disbursements, allocate health expenses to various divisions, etc.)
- Preparing ledger account reconciliations
- Recording and reconciling elimination entries
- Senior Accountant will work with a high volume of data with the above tasks - so this person must be comfortable with Excel
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as requested
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience required for Senior Accountant role to have a strong understanding of reconciliations and journal entries
- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related
- Senior Accountant should have strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
- Previous real estate or construction experience is helpful but NOT required
- Technology savvy to pick up new software quickly with training
