We are looking for a Financial Analyst

An opportunity has arisen within this business to join the Finance team as a Financial Analyst, based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Role responsibilities:

• Customer invoice creation and associated follow-up; work with other team members to ensure on-time payment; create miscellaneous customer credits as necessary
• Supplier invoice review and approval; supplier research and problem resolution
• Monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations, associated reports, and entries to resolve issues
• Monthly Journal entries for various accruals and revenue/cost corrections
• Monthly account reviews, reports, and analysis to assist other team members
• Support team members in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis (e.g. Order Entry, Revenue, Gross Margin)
• Review Non-conformance costs and prepare associated reports
• Ad-hoc Commercial and Financial support to wider stakeholders (external audit, OnePM, Dashboard preparation, etc.)
• Ensure all records are maintained to an auditable standard
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Qualifications for the role:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• SAP experience a plus
• MS Excel skills - Advanced
• MS PowerPoint skills - Basic
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting and other relevant guidelines
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Results and quality-driven

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
