Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Secretarial Science or equivalent education and experience
• Excellent communication and keyboarding skills
• Demonstrated ability to deal discreetly with sensitive and confidential information and to work independently, making limited decisions based on knowledge of system policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of insurance reimbursement

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding
• Working knowledge of credentialing as applied to insurance companies
• Working knowledge of insurance reimbursemment

Performs diversified administrative duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature according to established standards. Performs independently or with general guidance.
