OBJECTIVE:
We are seeking a skilled individual to spearhead maintenance and reliability initiatives for refinery equipment. The goal is to ensure safe, stable, and reliable operations across the board.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of professionals overseeing fixed, rotating, electrical, and inspection operations.
- Mentor staff to implement industry best practices and codes.
- Supervise and manage reliability, electrical, and inspection personnel.
- Ensure compliance with Mechanical Integrity Programs.
- Conduct root cause investigations for equipment failures and apply corrective measures.
- Implement reliability initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
- Aid in developing training programs for operational and maintenance staff.
- Utilize reliability tools and analytics to improve equipment performance.
- Provide technical review of plant changes.
- Lead and participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators for the inspection program.
- Assist in developing a program to reduce equipment failures.
- Maintain equipment database files and records.
- Provide technical oversight on non-routine repairs.
- Stay updated on industry developments and recommend improvements.
- Support networking efforts to share best practices.
- Manage budget and track performance metrics.
- Promote engineering standards and participate in site turnarounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 10 years of mechanical integrity experience.
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Hands-on experience in heavy industrial settings.
- Expertise in rotating and fixed equipment.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
PREFERRED:
- Experience in petroleum refinery or related industry.
- Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance.
- Experience with PSAim software is a plus.

Pay: $170,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
