Production Superintendent

A leading North American producer of industrial and agricultural chemicals is seeking an experienced Ammonia Production Superintendent to join their team in El Dorado, AR.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for transferring your expertise and knowledge to others within designated areas of an ammonia production plant. You will lead and guide area operations through direct supervision of shift supervisors, ensuring continuity of operations while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining training plans, documentation, and hands-on assessments to effectively transfer knowledge to plant personnel
• Acting as the primary technical expert and troubleshooting resource for your designated areas
• Providing guidance and support across functional areas like production, maintenance, and engineering
• Identifying training needs and ensuring alignment with plant and corporate goals
• Maintaining accurate records of all training activities and technical support provided

To qualify, you'll need a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred) and at least 10 years of manufacturing experience successfully managing complex processes and equipment. Strong technical abilities, communication skills, and a talent for mentoring others are essential.

This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to work around industrial equipment, dust, chemicals, noise, and extreme temperatures while using proper PPE.
