The Role

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Maintenance Division. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the liaison between our valued clients and our team members in the field, ensuring the seamless execution of landscaping services. As a full-time position, the role demands landscape knowledge, problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, effective communication, and determination. You will play a crucial role in both follow-up and follow-through, leaving no detail missed or forgotten, and contribute to making our clients' dreams a reality.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

• Manage the daily roll-out, overseeing crews and ensuring they have all necessary resources.
• Ensure trucks are loaded safely and efficiently.

Client Management:

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with approx. 25 clients through regular communication/calls per week.
• Conduct thorough site walkthroughs for Quality Assurance and identify enhancement opportunities.

Horticulture and Green-Industry Knowledge:

• Demonstrate proficiency in plant identification and address issues related to plants and turf.
• Provide training to team members on correct pruning and maintenance.

Crew Leadership:

• Manage 3 to 5 crews on a daily basis, ensuring scheduled work is completed on time and with high quality.
• Conduct training sessions and enforce company policies and procedures.

Flexibility and Team Collaboration:

• Be a self-starter and team player, willing to wear multiple hats as needed.
• Perform tasks not explicitly listed in the JD, contributing to the overall success of the Maintenance Division.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscape management.
• Green-industry knowledge is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work outdoors for extended hours.
• Flexibility to adapt and contribute to various tasks.
• Open to applicants from diverse industries such as environmental services, park and forest services, construction, etc...
• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or Agriculture is a plus

Location and Support:

• Role based in Bossier City, LA 71111 (onsite).
• Relocation support provided.
• Reports directly to the VP of Maintenance.
