About the Opportunity

Do you have an exceptional attention to detail? Our Advisory team is looking for a bright, well-organized Advisory Operations Specialist – who understands the workings of an independent broker-dealer – to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Establish advisory accounts on internal and external platforms.
• Assist IARs with client account related questions and challenges.
• Process asset movement requests; including account transfers, ACHs, and check requests.
• Provide advisory platform and custodian training to IARs and their staff members.
• Collaborate with other IFG teams to on-board new IARs.

Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry, and a general understanding of investment-related products.
• FINRA series 65 at a minimum is required. 
• Series 7 and 66 preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire)
• Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
• Exceptional active listening and customer service skills
• Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
