Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Sales team as a Commercial Operations Specialist. As a Commercial Operations Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the commercial team with a variety of strategic responsibilities. This role will work cross functionally ensuring clear communication and detailed coordination of key activities such as site visit governance, developing a commercial onboarding playbook, and organizing the commercial SharePoint. This role will also oversee administrative duties such as travel booking, event planning, and setup of workshops for commercial leadership.

How you will make an impact:

• Work cross functionally with multiple departments to develop a governance document for onsite visits that yield a memorable white glove experience for customers including agenda creation, meeting logistics, and customer specific considerations
• Once governance document is approved - coordinate and assist with onsite visits (gift bags, conference room setup, room holds) for both internal teams and external clients
• Work cross functionally with multiple departments to develop a governance document for world-class onboarding experience for our commercial team members including travel coordination, meeting schedules, training, and templates for new-hire resources
• Once governance document is approved, lead and assist with aspects of onboarding a commercial team member. Including but not limited to scheduling 1:1 meetings, organizing meals, scheduling travel (hotel, flights, car), establishing training curriculum etc.
• Organize and execute training scheduling and coordination for the broader commercial team on a weekly basis
• Own the architecture and periodic maintenance of the commercial SharePoint, with the help of Internal Communication director
• Inventory and procure custom branded Maravai clothing and accessories
• Assist with planning, setup, and execution of internal workshops and/or team events
• Other commercial related functions, as needed

The skills and experience that you will bring:

• High School Diploma plus 4-6 years of experience in sales, operations, customer service, or marketing or related field; or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences discipline plus 2 years in sales, operations, customer service, or marketing or related field
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of core business tasks, learn at a fast pace and desire to grow with the organization
• Detail-oriented, including ability to deliver thorough, accurate information to internal and external customers and closely follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Enjoy problem-solving, working independently and with a team
• Creative thinking and ability to try alternative approaches to achieve a goal
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook
• Proficiency with SharePoint

The anticipated salary range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00 per hour. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
