The Quality Lead supports the Imagineering Quality and Environmental System to meet the highest global manufacturing standards. Currently IFT is accredited to ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Nadcap for Chem Processing and NDT
·1-3 Quality Technicians and Solution Attendants
·Supports efforts to maintain compliance with the standards Imagineering is accredited to and performs and/or audits the tasks outlined in the quality policy manual to ensure compliance with those standards.
·Facilitates NMR/RMA process.
·Floor Audits/Inspections and internal process audits
·Perform root cause analysis and craft correct problem statements.
·Investigate and approve re-certs.
·Perform CQI 11 & 12
·Complete customer questionnaires
·Assists with external audits.
·Communicate with internal/external customers.
·Manage periodic testing.
·Review customer procedures.
·Perform first article inspections.
·Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists with employee training.
Assists with the daily workflow of the site’s Quality Department by delegating and following up on open tasks.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
·Assists Department Manager and/or Director with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to have constructive or difficult conversations with employees.
·Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
·2-4 year degree in related field preferred.
·Work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
·Proven experience in Quality Systems, gauge calibration, dimensional inspection, first article inspection, and PPAP, PFMEA creating.
·Knowledge of metal finishing and chemical processing highly desired.
·The individual is encouraged and/or will be required to complete up to 24 hours of job-related training per year. This may be completed by internal training programs, webinars, etc. as approved by the department Director.
·Local and overnight travel may be required periodically.
Assignments are moderately to highly complex in nature where advanced problem solving, prioritizing, and communicating with all levels of plant and management personnel is a necessity.
Normally receives no instructions on routine work, and general instructions on new assignments.
·Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
·Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
·Vision Requirements
o Color Vision Eye Examination annually per IFT vision requirements
o Near-Vision Eye Examination annually per IFT vision requirements
The Individual(s) must meet the minimum standards in one eye, corrected with glasses/contacts or not corrected.
