The Quality Audit Specialist will conduct and manage the Internal audit process for all QMS based audits: ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 this includes managing the Internal Audit Schedule and issuance of findings associated with Internal Audit nonconformance to the appropriate process owners.

·Supports efforts to maintain compliance with the standards Imagineering is accredited to and performs and/or audits the tasks outlined in the quality policy manual to ensure compliance with those standards.
·Manages the internal audit process and assists in Registrar Audit preparation and responses for all Imagineering facilities
·Assist with NADCAP process-based audits, scheduling, and completion
·Prepares corrective actions
·Assists with pre-audit checklists
·Complete corrective action activities associated with customer complaints (SCARs, RMAs)
·Utilize quality incident log to identify audit trails and to eliminate potential escapes
·Communicates audit results to the department manager and director
·Prepares information/findings and participates in Operations and Quality Team meetings

·Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
·Associate’s degree in management, Engineering, QMS or another related field. Work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
·5 years experience in QMS with preferential consideration given for experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100
·Knowledge of metal finishing and chemical processing desired
·The individual is encouraged and/or will be required to complete up to 24 hours of job-related training per year. This may be completed by internal training programs, webinars, etc. as approved by the department Director.
·Local and overnight travel are required periodically between South Bend, IN and Indianapolis, IN.
Assignments are moderately to highly complex in nature where advanced problem solving, prioritizing, and communicating with all levels of plant and management personnel is a necessity.
Normally receives no instructions on routine work, and general instructions on new assignments.
·Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
·Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
·Vision Requirements
o Color Vision Eye Examination annually per IFT vision requirements
o Near-Vision Eye Examination annually per IFT vision requirements
The Individual(s) must meet the minimum standards in one eye, corrected with glasses/contacts or not corrected.
