 The Systems Engineer supports the program’s systems and solution engineering effort. Primary focus is to identify and capture program level requirements for new and upgraded cyber security systems that support the customer’s mission. This work will be performed as part of a SAFe Agile implementation, with a specific focus on Epic definition and Agile Release Train (ART) requirements. This position will work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to establish high-level solution intent, which includes high level DoDAF architect views; write lean business cases (LBC) and use cases; and documentation requirements. This position will also provide requirements traceability support for enterprise-level documentation and artifacts. The Senior Systems Engineer will also be involved in the Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) implementation across the program and customer environment.

• Demonstrated strong systems engineering skills
• Strong organizational skill and communication skill
• Understanding of Agile or SAFe development and delivery
• Understanding of systems architecture
• Able to develop and communicate a technical solution

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of experience in systems engineering or equivalent 
• Requirements analysis and management experience
• Use case development experience
• Experience with system of systems design and development

Preferred Experience, & Skills

• Understanding of SAFe implementation
• Understanding of DoDAF
• Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
• Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira Align and Jira
• Experience working in an Agile environment and using Agile tools
• Experience working in Lean Business Case (LBC) creation
• Project Management experience
• Risk Management experistems
