Goodwill Mission Services/Administration is Hiring a Clean Energy Administrative Assistant Near Rockford, IL
Clean Energy Administrative Assistant will support the Clean Energy program staff by providing various administrative duties related to program recruitment, intake, assessment, and service delivery. The Administrative Assistant will work with program applicants, partner agencies, and employers to provide support for the Clean Energy training and employment program. Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Administrative
Organize and maintain participant files and databases in a confidential manner.
Enter notes and contacts into databases and systems and place follow-up calls.
Communication
Manage communication including emails and phone calls with partners and participants.
Answer questions and provide guidance and assistance related to participants' expressed needs.
Maintain professionalism, using tact and courtesy to establish and maintain effective relationships with persons contacted in the course of work.
Show flexibility in working with people from diverse social, economic, and educational backgrounds.
Outreach and Assessment
Assist with intake, including assessment testing at various community sites.
Maintain confidentiality and protect participants' Personal Identifying Information (PII) as required by law.
Position Expertise
Become familiar with the Clean Energy Sector, as well as local, state and federal policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with program and community partners.

Compensation Range: $17.50-19.50/hour Qualifications & Basic Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; some post-secondary work preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with barriers to employment and understand and communicate with diverse groups.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High customer service focus.
Functional use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook and the internet.
Bilingual with Spanish language highly desired.
