Icon Real Estate Services is Hiring an Experienced Property Manager Near Seattle, WA

ICON Real Estate Services, Inc. is a locally owned property management firm serving the greater Puget Sound Region since 2016. We are a team of seasoned professionals who work collaboratively to serve our clients’ and residents’ needs. We are looking for qualified property management professionals to join our team as we continually grow and expand.

We are currently hiring for a full-time experienced Property Manager to manage a 94 unit apartment complex in the South Seattle area.

Position Summary:

The Property Manager position manages and directs the day-to-day operations the property. This position requires a HIGH level of self-organization, time management, along with the ability to help manage maintenance staff and maintenance schedule. The Property Manager is responsible for providing exceptional service to all our residents while working within Fair Housing Laws. The Property Manager takes an active role in the external marketing, advertising of vacancies, and application processing for our communities. This person is responsible for multiple aspects of the community’s operations and objectives daily.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Knowledge of new WA State Landlord-Tenant laws is a must! Fair-housing training is required as well.
Greeting all residents, future residents, and team members in a professional manner.
Keeping a high level of service in mind with every task, while resolving conflict to benefit all concerned parties.
Adept in accounting and office management.
Facilitating all aspects in the apartment leasing process.
Planning and executing on-site marketing and advertising directives.
Complete Monday morning reports and send to Portfolio Manager in a timely manner.
Complete regular AP daily.
Compose lease renewal offers and regular posting of resident notices.
Daily office filing and maintaining neat file management.
Work with maintenance on scheduling work requests and task/time management.
Supply ordering and inventory control.
Scheduling vender work for unit turns and management of make ready board.
Complete move in and move outs with residents and correct office procedures.
Ability to schedule tours, resident meetings etc.

Job Requirements - Ideal job candidates will possess and demonstrate:

At least 3 years of property management experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, some college preferred.
Proven sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
Knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
Projection of a professional image by following dress code and appearance standards as set forth by the company.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher).
Knowledge of AppFolio software is preferred.
Reliable transportation and dedication to great attendance.
Excellent telephone and communication skills.
A positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:

Job requires associates to do an ample amount of walking; to move about the property and give tours to future residents, post notices, and ensure curb appeal for multiple properties. Some light lifting may be required as well.
