IBS Electronics, Inc is Hiring a Remote Senior Sales Account Manager (Hybrid-Remote)

Job Description:

Our expanding business is looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager to join our team in a hybrid-remote role and support the increasing demand for electronic components in the Mid-West and East Coast United States. Successful candidates will hunt for new business opportunities, expand on existing relationships, and follow up with potential leads to maximize revenue potential. The ideal Senior Sales Account Manager should have electronic component sales experience and research trends and emerging markets to expand revenue while fostering a drive to develop your personal brand and network in the industry.

What our Sales Account Managers are expected to do:

  • Hunt for new opportunities by generating and pursuing leads.
  • Attending trade shows and networking events.
  • Coordinate and attend quarterly business reviews (QBR) to develop strategies and discover opportunities.
  • Participate in internal product training and conduct client-focused product training.
  • Provide a quick response time to clients, answer technical questions by coordinating with the product management team, follows through at every stage of the sales cycle, and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, industry news, competitor activities and innovative ideas for discovering sales opportunities.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • A degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic component sales.
  • Proven track record of success in account management and sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Other duties related to the job function.
