IBS Electronics, Inc is Hiring a Procurement Manager Near Santa Ana, CA

Are you a seasoned procurement professional with a passion for sourcing?IBS Electronics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a focus on sourcing for the electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, aerospace, military, and defense industries. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in developing and managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing innovative procurement strategies.

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing function of our organization. This includes identifying new suppliers to support market trends and demand, managing a team of buyers, and streamlining procurement processes with our product and sales management teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining awareness of market trends, industry news, competitor activities, and innovative ideas for discovering sales opportunities.

What our Procurement Manager is expected to do:

  • Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best possible pricing, quality, and delivery
  • Coordinate and manage a team of electronic component buyers
  • Streamline sourcing processes with the product and sales management teams
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, industry news, competitor activities, and innovative ideas for discovering sales opportunities

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • A degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing for the Military, Aerospace, or Defense industries.
  • Proven track record of success in procurement management and sourcing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities to develop and report on KPIs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Other duties related to the job function
