Huntington Theatre Company is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near Boston, MA

POSITION: Human Resources Coordinator

FT: Full Time- 40 hours

Classification: Exempt

Pay range: $45,760-$54,080 annually

Reports to: Human Resources Business Partner


Job Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator responsibilities are to manage our front desk to ensure the first point of contact experience is consistently high level of customer service, coordinate and complete various Human Resource clerical activates. The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the Human Resources Business Partner and will be required to be in physically the office for all shifts, including some nights.

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

  • Coordinates and facilitate New Employee Orientation
  • Coordinates interview schedules
  • Coordinates and schedules the 30-60-90 day check in for new hires
  • Files OSHA, accident and Leave of Absence documentation
  • Uploads and maintains employee files in Paycom
  • Assist with the planning of all employee engagement events
  • Collects and completes I9 and W4 documentations
  • Maintain benefit administration including COBRA distribution and management in Paycom
  • Completes employee verification for current and former employees
  • Answers inquiries calls about the Huntington and transfers calls to proper department/personnel
  • Responsible for distributing mail to proper department/ sites.
  • Updates employee directory and distribute companywide communications.
  • Greets employees and visitors warmly, ensures the reception area is always neat and all are comfortable while waiting to meet with the appropriate person
  • Administers and distributes tap cards and fobs for employees building access
  • Distributes and audits parking vouchers and MBTA passes; communicates parking options to employees (admin)
  • Prepares and audits monthly invoices
  • Orders, receives, stocks, and distributes office supplies and maintains a neat and orderly Supply Closet
  • Maintains conference rooms schedule and appearance. Prepares the room(s) for meetings
  • Interfaces with visiting vendors and contractors for work scheduled at the admin offices
  • Acts as the staff liaison for the opening nights and distributes party tickets
  • Liaison and interfaces with the Superintendent of building and contractors for work scheduled at the admin offices, and with visiting vendors for any work orders that are needed
  • All other duties as assigned


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • One to two years of administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Calendar programs are helpful.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Sense of humor and grace under pressure are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail, reliable, and is extremely organized.
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
