**Customer Service Manager**

Farmington Hills, MI, USA Req #237 Thursday, April 8, 2021 **Humanetics** is the pioneer and global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of anthropomorphic test devices (ATDs), calibration equipment, crash sensor instrumentation and crash software modeling. Humanetics also offers a growing portfolio of active safety testing products for ADAS and autonomous vehicles. Its devices and simulation software are used to develop safety systems in vehicles, airplanes, helicopters and space rockets. In the automotive sector alone, Humanetics serves 100% of the OEMs and Tier I safety suppliers worldwide.

**Role Purpose:** Manages and coordinates the customer service team activities at Humanetics. Responsible to liaison with department managers, supervisors and other appropriate personnel to assure we meet customer expectations and deliverables. **Essential Functions & Responsibilities:**

Responsible for supervising the customer order entry, comparison of purchase orders to quotes/contract reviews, order scheduling, customer order fulfilment activities and related processes; including all deliverables per contractual obligations to assure all customer expectations and Humanetics obligations are met.

Participate in the contract reviews and approving credit limits/terms reviews working with the Finance department and the end user.

Responsible for supervising the Service Orders processes working with the customer service team and the Material Control and RMA Coordinators.

Builds and maintains customer relationships. May visit customer locations and support on-site pre-inspection visits from global customers.

Manages customer complaints regarding quality, specifications, and delivered condition of products. Records, analyzes, and informs concerned personnel of production quality assurance, and sales departments of status and disposition of customer complaints and claims. Responsible for contacting client with closure of reported complaint.

Responsible for producing accurate and timely quotations for standard product quotations.

Maintain positive demeanor. Ability to put the customer first. Listen and act on customer requests. Must follow up with customer and resolve issues within appropriate timeframe.

Coordinate delivery dates with Production Control to meet customer expectations and balance plant load.

Work closely with Finance Department to assure accurate currency conversion on orders.

Responsible to maintain, develop and enhance policies and procedures working with Finance, Manufacturing and IT Departments.

Oversees the Customer Service Representatives for collection of past due invoices.

Ability to prepare work instructions and train individuals on standard operation procedures. Participation in the ISO 9001 Auditing for recertification ensuring the Customer Service Team is following standard operation procedures and can pass an internal audit on our procedures.

Attend and participate in customer (trade) shows when necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

**Education and/or Experience:**

Bachelor or equivalent accumulation of experience and post secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Service Management, or similar.
