Innovative Foodservice Group is hiring a full-time Sales Representative in Clearwater, FL.
As a Sales Rep, you'd be tasked with selling the organization’s products or services by interacting with customers and developing new prospects to achieve territory/district goals and objectives. The Sales Representative must have a broad knowledge of the organization’s products, services and marketing techniques. An Innovative Foodservice sales representative shall follow the course of highest integrity and adhere to the company’s policies and standards of conduct in his/her business relationships.
 
Innovative Foodservice Group (IFG), a member of the Trivest portfolio of companies, is leading foodservice equipment distributor with four major brands across multiple geographies. IFG serves a diversified customer base primarily in the restaurant, lodging, education and healthcare industries.

 
Job Requirements: 

• Travel throughout assigned geographic or account base territory to call on regular and prospective
• customers to solicit orders.
• Displays or demonstrates product, using samples and catalogs to emphasize features and benefits on every call.
• Works with credit department to set credit terms for orders obtained
• Responsible for collections of all accounts
• Keeps informed on new products, pricing, and other general information.
• Ensure proper service and follow-up on all customer accounts.
• Maintains daily contact with internal departments, customers, factory reps, and other outside sources.
• Checks on competitive sales and pricing activity.
• Acts as a consultant, to provide advice and guidance to customers in relation to their requirements.
• Develop specific sales and pricing objectives for each account.
• Ensure that presentations and selling ideas are made to all persons who have an influence on the purchase of products.
• Ensure that all customers have an assigned frequency of sales contact and assigned frequencies are maintained in the weekly call plan.
• Sales reps must contact key personnel in all customers and on a regularly scheduled basis to achieve maximum vertical penetration. This to include the accounts payable department.
• Communicates account activity to maintain a high level of follow through re: credit, collections, and adjustments.
• Develop and maintain an active prospect list. New account prospect call must be incorporated into all weekly call plans.
• Attends and participates in mid-month and monthly branch sales meetings.
