HSS Hospitality Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Maintenance ( Weekly pay, Health Benefits, Growth Opportunities) Near Fort Lauderdale, FL
At HSS we are looking for Maintenance Worker to work in janitorial department in public and private buildings, universities and hotels in Fort Lauderdale, FL area.
As Maintenance you will be working closely with the Superintend to ensure our customer needs and supervise janitorial operations.
Description/Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Providing training (onboarding) in custodial cleaning practices.
- Carpet Cleaner
- Plumbing
- Electricity/Changes Bulbs
- Painter
- Ensuring proper chemical usage
- Ensuring proper usage and maintenance of custodial equipment
- Conducting weekly safety trainings
- Monitoring quality of work produced
- Adjusting daily assignments based on staffing
- Issuing access cards
- Performing workspace inspections
Requirements:
- Maintenance experience required
- Basic computer skills
- Open Availability
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
- Proven maintenance experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Related degree from a technical college.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
