Position Summary:

As Bookkeeping Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage a variety of accounts for a group of small to mid-sized clients, while also building and strengthening those client relationships. Your most important task will be to track and manage financial data to create and maintain accurate records for our clients. You will provide support to the Director of Accounting in serving our clients' needs, as well as be other departments within HR Wise. Please apply on our website at www.hrwisellc.com

Requirements

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Manager client accounts using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
  • Accurate invoicing Customers
  • Manage client accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
  • Vendor and other payment processing
  • Accurate ACH processing
  • Reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card accounts and other items
  • Preparation of month-end journal entries
  • Responsible for internal controls and fraud prevention
  • Communicate effectively across silos within HR Wise
  • Must be able to work diligently in meeting deadlines ???????
  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Compute and record numerical data 
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Payroll experience with ADP, Paylocity, Paychex and other payroll platforms
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • A highly positive and upbeat personality
  • Ability to work with a variety of personalities at all levels throughout an organization
  • A sense of urgency and exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, attention to detail, time management and follow-through skills
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; payroll platforms; QuickBooks Desktop and Online
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Success in a high-growth environment and adaptable to change

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business or related field
  • Certification in Accounting or Bookkeeping
  • Certification in QuickBooks

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of solid bookkeeping experience with AR, AP, and reconciliation.
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields

Language:

  • Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
