We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounting, accounting supervision, full close cycle accounting, real estate bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Sage 100, QuickBooks Pro, Yardi, collaboration, and other related skills. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Manage the full close cycle accounting process, including preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts
• Handle all accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring that all payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that financial goals are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Provide support to other members of the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree a plus but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, accounting supervision, full close cycle accounting, real estate bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Sage 100, QuickBooks Pro, Yardi, collaboration, and other related skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
