About the ConceptLawn Club is an exciting new competitive socializing destination in the Seaport, opening September 2023.Positioning itself as “New York’s Leisure Headquarters,” Lawn Club will feature indoor and outdoor rentable gaming lawns in a massive 25,000 square foot venue, along with amazing cocktails and a small menu of tasty bites. Designed to deliver the ideal atmosphere for hanging out with friends, each rentable lawn at Lawn Club will come with a full complement of popular lawn games including but not limited to bocce, cornhole, croquet, ladders, kan jam, beersbee, putting pool and shuffleboard, along with big-screen TVs for sports enjoyment, courtside drink service, and dedicated “Lawncierges” to help with all gaming needs. Lawn Club will appeal to a variety of audiences: twenty-somethings looking for a fun night out, families looking for something to do together, anyone looking for a great event venue for their next birthday or bar mitzvah, corporate event planners, and more. About the RoleThe Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily floor operations of Lawn Club. This dynamic and results-driven role is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of all aspects of business operations, personnel management, and sales. Working closely with the General Manager, this individual foster a positive and supportive environment while driving performance excellence in concept alignment, guest satisfaction, employee retention, and overall business success. The Impact You’ll Make | Essential Responsibilities Supporting the General Manager in running the daily operations of the restaurantEnsure the delivery of a superior and enjoyable gaming and recreation experience for all guests and employeesFoster and maintain positive guest relations, promptly address and resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfactionGuide, direct, and train service staff, maintaining a productive work environment that promotes loyalty and dedicationEnsure accurate and timely completion of all financial and personnel/payroll-related administrative dutiesUphold high standards of food preparation and service qualityMaintain a safe working and guest environment, implementing security procedures to protect employees, guests, and company assetsFacilitate clear, timely communication among internal departments regarding essential business mattersBe physically present on the floor during service hours to uphold service standardsSupport recruiting, hiring, training, and development of managers and hourly employeesOversee marketing initiatives and special eventsDrive successful performance management and utilize disciplinary actions as needed in partnership with HRFollow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the companyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as per business need About YOU! | KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL Minimum 2 years F&B management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurantExperience managing major projects and supervising day-to-day team activitiesStrong commitment to guest service and hospitality standardsOrganization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detailProficiency in coordinating multiple business verticals, including food, beverage, culinary, games, and more while maintaining operational standardsPOS and computer literate with the ability to learn and adapt to using all programsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levelsHigh emotional intelligence to effectively manage and lead a diverse teamCommitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and positive employee experienceProfessional demeanor, polished appearance with the ability to exceed guest's expectationsAbility to work in an ever-changing environmentAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentStrong work ethic and customer-focused approachAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis). Ability to stand for prolong periods of time. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. Climbing steps regularly. The base pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per annum.
