A media/fashion business is in search of a solid Staff Accountant to support their accounting and finance team. Reporting to a stellar Controller, you’ll manage relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, support month-end procedures, draft contracts and assist with vendor onboarding, issue all expense purchase orders, manage chargebacks, and more.
The ideal candidate will have experience thriving within a fast-paced environment, and will have high energy with the ability to operate with discretion. Note the team works 5 days in office from their downtown NYC location with Friday work-from-home capabilities during the summer months.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• An A-player with at least two years of data entry or billings experience
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a strong academic record
• Strong Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, LOOKUP, SUMIFs, etc.)
• Preferable industries include media, fashion retail or events
