Customer Service Assistant

Long Beach, CA

Full Time

A background in customer service and or sales is preferred. However, our client hires on attitude, passion and personality, so previous customer service or sales experience is not paramount! This is a very customer-centric role, so you’ll need to be confident and comfortable interacting with customers face-to-face in pre-located locations across Long Beach, CA. They are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond to deliver and who are determined to be the best.

Customer Service Assistant Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Building:

  • Build and strengthen client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally. Customer interactions will happen face-to-face where customer work, shop and reside.

2. Client Record Management:

  • Maintain accurate client records, ensuring that all contract updates, renewals, and relevant information are documented and updated regularly.
  • Keep track of client interactions, feedback, and preferences to personalize the customer experience and improve service delivery.

3. Product and Service Knowledge:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing structures.
  • Match customers to the right products and services based on their needs and preferences, utilizing your knowledge to upsell and cross-sell additional offerings.

4. Daily and Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Take inquiries and requests from customers, addressing their needs promptly and effectively. Our customer-centric campaigns are designed to engage customers in places where they live, work, or shop.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and identify opportunities for improvement in business operations.
  • Generate progress reports to provide clients and higher-ups within the organization with updates on service delivery, customer satisfaction, and key performance indicators.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities, and maintain consistent communication with the sales team to maximize revenue and customer retention.

Customer Sales Assistant Requirements:

  • Able to commute to our office in Long Beach, CA (This role cannot be done remotely)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capability to think outside the box and get creative
  • A strong work ethic and desire to go above and beyond to meet all targets and objectives
