Robert Half is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist Near Los Angeles, CA

Our client, a premier showroom in the mid-city area, is looking for a versatile and proactive Customer Service Specialist who will also assist in Shipping/Receiving and Purchasing. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the showroom operates smoothly and that customers receive exceptional service. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing inventory, and supporting the purchasing process for their exclusive range of high-end, luxury products. This position has potential to advance and grow in the future. 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist showroom visitors with enthusiasm and professionalism.

• Answering incoming phone calls.

• Provide product information, recommendations, and answer customer queries.

• Process customer orders, write up orders, and ensure accurate billing and payment transactions.

• Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.

• Assist guests with in-person pick-ups. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Assemble, arrange, and creatively stage and update products and displays in the showroom.

• Provide back up support as needed to the sales team.

• Generate purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, and track order status.

• Daily sales and purchasing transactions closing.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and arranging for carriers. 

• Maintain organized shipping and receiving records and update inventory systems.

• Handle all returns and exchanges efficiently, following established procedures. 

• Responsible for maintaining showroom cleanliness.

This is a fully on-site position that offers potential room for growth in the future.
