Local retail business is hiring for an Administrative Assistant. This part-time position will have flexible hours (4-5 hours per day). Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our accounting department and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include answering phones, greeting customers, data entry, cleaning and organizing display area, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Office, other software and office equipment. It is NECESSARY that the ideal candidate for this position must be able to easily use Microsoft EXCEL. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Top candidates for this position should have excellent people skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and multi-tasking skills are a must. The ability to be a self-starter is a must in this position.
