Hotel AKA Brickell is seeking a talented Assistant Outlet General Manager to plan and manage the Restaurant, ADRIFT Mare, In Room Dining and our Pool Bar as appropriate in order to achieve guest satisfaction, and quality service while meeting/exceeding our financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the day to day operations of ADRIFT Mare, In Room Dining and the Pool Bar for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods. Direct the day to day operations of the bar operations.
• Manage hiring in the various outlets in order to attract, retain and motivate the associates; interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate.
• Assist with implementing and managing processes, which regulate key activities and legal requirements.
• Monitor the maintenance of the premises and equipment at all times and report on required action to the Operations Team
• Ensure that the business is effectively managed and staffed at all times.
• Monitor the quality of food, beverage and service to make sure they are in accordance with company standards.
• Proactively manage the security of cash, product and equipment. Reporting any concerns or recommendations
• Assist in ensuring the business is run to the company and legal standards in regards to Hygiene, Health and Safety, and Licensing
• Work and liaise with the management team to ensure all areas of concern are dealt with, including up to date HACCP’s, fire drills and alarm testing.
• Assist in managing and coordinating all aspects of Health and Safety within the food & beverage departments & kitchen, ensuring that all guidelines, risk assessments, safe systems of work are implemented and that all employees are fully trained in all aspects of health and safety.
• Work closely with all heads of department to maintain a stable team so that service levels are maintained and the recruitment & training cost to the business are minimized.
• Assist in managing employees in an open and approachable manner to assist in maximizing employee retention.
• Manager administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, performance reviews etc...
• Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Associates degree or higher.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a Food & Beverage management/department head position.
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Food Handler Certification. Certified Food Service Professional preferred.
• Skills Needed: Motivational, verbal communication, written communication and manageability.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
