L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miamiawarded Two Michelin Stars in 2022 and again in 2023 is the latest incarnation of Chef Joël Robuchon’s groundbreaking concept, which first opened in Paris’ Saint-Germain neighborhood in 2003, followed by Tokyo the same year. The restaurant’s signature counter seating faces directly into the open kitchen, allowing for a dynamic interaction between chef and diner, and view into the creative process. The legendary Chef Joël Robuchon was a visionary and trailblazer who transformed the way French cuisine was prepared and presented. Before his passing, he held 31 Michelin stars—more than any chef in history—and ran 29 restaurants spanning 11 countries, in cities including Hong Kong, Las Vegas, London, and Monaco, among others.We are seeking a professionally driven Assistant General Manager to assist the L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon and Le Jardinier Miami's operations.
TheAssistant General Managerworks in conjunction with the General Manager in overseeing and directing the property’s day to day service and administrative operations. This role is responsible for working cross-functionally across both concepts with a strong focus on service and staff development. The AGM is the “go to” individual in the absence of the General Manager and supports training,guestservice, product knowledge and education, maintaining profitability and encouraging safe work practices.

- As part of the management team work collaboratively to achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Ensure that all guests are receiving the highest level of service and hospitality from all food and beverage associates. Fill in where needed to ensure guest experience is never compromised as a result of operational challenges.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
- Assist with weekly and monthly inventories and reporting procedures as needed.
- Schedule service staff as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met. Modify staffing configurations based upon increases or decreases in sales volumes.
- Assist in hiring procedures, training, planning and directing work, and progressive coaching and counseling coordination with General Manager and Human Resources Director.
- Ensure the efficiency of the reservation system as well as the seating charts.
- Be actively involved and visibly present in the daily operation for not only our guests as well as your associates.
- 3-5 years’ management experience in restaurants, preferably of similar caliber.
- Someone who possesses strong leadership skills, extremely detail oriented, and incredible interpersonal skills.
- Experience with new restaurant openings, or a good idea of what it takes to do so is a must.
