Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function - bills/invoice, vendor relations, account coding, data entry
• Ability to adhere to deadlines while maintaining Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) policies and procedures.
• Responsible for reporting and updating specific repairs/maintenance and CAPEX, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in data entry and 10-key typing skills
- Experience with processing payroll >300 employees, Paychex or ADP experience and prior ERP software experience - NetSuite/Sage Intaacct/Microsoft Dynamics GP/Multiview/SAP accounting software such as QuickBooks or Workday
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel
- Prefers experience working with a union.
