The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Officer to join our Security team and be an integral part of the hotel's safety and guest-focused service.

Key accountabilities
* Serve as security ambassadors focusing on the safety and security of all guest, patrons and associates as well as hotel assets.
* Officers will enforce all security procedures and hotel policies in an aggressive yet hospitable manner.
* Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Security operations
* Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism while on duty
* Respond accordingly to all fire alarms, bomb threats elevator entrapments
* Patrolling all areas of the hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations
* Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards
* Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience
General requirements
* 2 years of Officer experience in the hospitality industry
* Ability to handle fast-paced, high energy, stressful environment; ability to be flexible with work schedule including some late-nights and weekends.
* An excellent knowledge of the current computer applications being used.
* Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
* Strong command of written and spoken English both written and spoken
