Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer is responsible of providing a 10 point wand metal detection screening process on individuals going in and out of a secured area, making sure nothing goes in or out that is not authorized. During emergencies such as alarms or evacuations, officer plays a crucial role into securing his environment. The officer is also responsible for alarm response within the 10 min SLA. The officer will also conduct patrols.
Additionally there are Guard Shack style roles where the Security Officer will be responsible for verifying identity and access of authorized personnel driving into the sites, and will direct personnel without access to the VMO. May be responsible for directing emergency response units during emergencies.
